Maintenance work totalling Dh56 million is being carried out at 34 education facilities, the Ministry of Public Works said yesterday.
The project includes minor additions; comprehensive maintenance works for all utilities including entrances, fences and car parks; the updating of laboratories and multipurpose rooms; electric and sanitary works; water tanks and firefighting systems and pumps.
The ministry has already completed Dh5m of urgent maintenance work at 94 schools and nurseries, in coordination with the Ministry of Education.
