The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation sent its 31st aid plane, loaded with two tonnes of medication, to the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Hospital on Yemen’s Socotra Island.
The plane was also carrying a tonne of stationery for students.
The foundation has been providing humanitarian relief and aid, including food, medication and educational assistance, to thousands of families on Socotra.
The aid is sent on the directives of President Sheikh Khalifa and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, reported Wam, the state news agency.
