ABU DHABI //The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, in coordination with the UAE Embassy in Kabul, has distributed aid to victims of the latest earthquake to hit Afghanistan.
A foundation official said more than 4,000 families in the northern Takhar Province received the aid over a four-day period, the state news agency Wam reported.
The humanitarian response comes under the directives of the President, Sheikh Khalifa, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the follow up of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs.
