Kalba court fines man for making death threats during argument

The Kalba Misdemeanors Court has fined an Emirati man Dh5,000 for threatening to kill a compatriot during a dispute.

The plaintiff filed a complaint at Kalba Police Station saying the Emirati man had explicitly threatened to kill him following a petty argument.

The defendant confessed to the charges before the prosecutor and the court, reported Al Ittihad, the Arabic language sister paper of The National.
