Sunday’s forecast calls for - you guessed it - hot to very hot conditions, according to the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology. Temperature highs will continue to flirt with the 50 C degree mark, while humidity along the coast will peak at a muggy 85 percent. The hottest temperatures will be felt in the country’s interior, where forecast highs will reach between 44 and 49 C. Along the coast, the mercury will rise to between 41 and 46 C, while the mountain temperatures will be considerably lower, with highs between 34 to 39 C. Conditions may be ripe for clouds, and maybe even a little rain, over some eastern and southern parts of the country. While the wind will be light to moderate -- blowing between about 15 and 30 km/h, just enough to kick up some dust and sand and stir up the sea.
