DUBAI // A man who dragged his neighbour’s 8-year-old daughter into an empty corridor and molested her was sentenced to three months in jail at the criminal court on Tuesday.
The 54-year-old Indian M A had been drinking alcohol when he saw the girl playing with her friends in the corridor of their apartment block.
He pulled the Inidan girl by her arm away from the group and assaulted her.
Her father said that his daughter came home crying and told him that their neighbour touched her inappropriately. “She told me he pulled her from the arm and took her to the next corridor then pulled her shirt up and started touching her,” he said.
M A will be deported after completing his jail term.
