DUBAI // The public will soon be able to access the entire catalogue of electronic resources at the Rashid Medical Library.

Dr Jamila Mohammad Shaikh, director of Medical Education Department at Dubai Health Authority, said access to all the online books and journals would be free from Sunday, October 30 until November 12.

The electronic resources included more than 200,000 e-books, 8,000 journals, 15 million articles, 2 million photos and videos and 27 databases, reported state news agency Wam.

Dr Shaikh said she hoped the resources would allow those working in the health sector to diversify their knowledge.

The DHA has made the resources available in support of the UAE Year of Reading, an initiative of President Sheikh Khalifa, and the Arab Reading Challenges, launched by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.

UAE currency: the story behind the money in your pockets
Her most famous song

Aghadan Alqak (Would I Ever Find You Again)?

Would I ever find you again
You, the heaven of my love, my yearning and madness;
You, the kiss to my soul, my cheer and
sadness?
Would your lights ever break the night of my eyes again?
Would I ever find you again?
This world is volume and you're the notion,
This world is night and you're the lifetime,
This world is eyes and you're the vision,
This world is sky and you're the moon time,
Have mercy on the heart that belongs to you.
