The UAE recorded 1,401 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, the highest number this week.
The latest infections took the overall tally to 551,430.
Another 1,374 people beat the virus, raising the recovery total to 531,459.
Three more patients died as the death toll increased to 1,642.
The number of active cases stands at 18,329.
The daily caseload is the largest since Friday, May 14, when 1,452 cases were reported. But it is still well below figures reported earlier in the year.
Case numbers have remained below 2,000 since April 27.
Infections hit a peak on February 3, when 3,977 cases were confirmed.
An additional 244,880 tests were carried out during the 24-hour reporting period.
More than 47.7 million tests have been conducted since the outbreak began.
