SHARJAH // A drive to encourage blood donors has started in Sharjah.
The Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation organised the drive to support the My Blood for My Country initiative of Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai.
It aims to collect enough blood to provide for road accident casualties, patients with thalassaemia, patients with chronic diseases, and those in need of surgical treatment.
