ABU DHABI // The Abu Dhabi Swimming Festival will be held on February 28 at Emirates Palace.
Emirati brothers Obaid, Saeed, Bakheet and Faisal Al Jasmi – who hold a Guinness World Record for being the first team of brothers to compete in the 4x100 metres relay at swimming’s World Championship, in 2010 – will take part hoping to inspire the next generation of swimmers.
Obaid, captain of the UAE swimming team, said: “Being part of an event such as the Abu Dhabi Swimming Festival is humbling. It is our pleasure to support young and upcoming swimmers in the UAE.”
The event is expected to attract amateur swimmers from around the UAE.
