Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, wished Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman a speedy recovery after his recent surgery.

The Saudi Press Agency said on Wednesday that Prince Mohammed had a successful laparoscopy to remove his appendix.

Writing on Twitter, Sheikh Mohamed, wished “his brother” good health.

“We thank God for my brother Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s successful surgery, and we wish him good health and a speedy recovery,” he said.

The low-risk, minimally invasive procedure, which only requires only small incisions, was carried out at King Faisal Specialist Hospital in Riyadh.

The SPA shared a video showing Prince Mohammed leaving the hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
