Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed Jordan's King Abdullah II to Abu Dhabi on Saturday. The Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces met the long-reigning monarch on his arrival in the capital. Sheikh Mohamed said the UAE and Jordan remained committed to bolstering the already-strong ties that exist between the countries. "I was pleased to have met my brother King Abdullah II of Jordan in Abu Dhabi," said Sheikh Mohamed on Twitter on Saturday. "Our countries share a strong commitment to strengthening our co-operation and focusing on stability and development in our region." The two men last met in the UAE capital in November when Sheikh Mohamed hosted a tripartite summit also involving Bahrain's King Hamad. The summit focused on efforts to bolster deep-rooted links between the three nations.
