Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, held high-level talks with Saudi Arabia's minister for sport in Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mansour discussed efforts to forge closer sporting links between the UAE and the kingdom during the meeting with Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal Al Saud, who is also chairman of the Saudi Olympic Committee.
They spoke of accelerating joint initiatives to help achieve the ambitions of their respective nations within the field of sport.
The meeting at Qasr Al Watan was attended by a number of senior figures, including Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Youth; Sheikh Shakbout bin Nayhan, Minister of State; Minister of Federal Supreme Council Affairs, Ahmed Al Zaabi and Turki bin Abdullah Al Dakhil, Saudi Ambassador to the UAE.
