The Deputy Ruler of Dubai was wished well by officials and colleagues after successful surgery abroad.
Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid, the country's Minister of Finance, was visited by Hilal Al Marri, director general of Dubai World Trade Centre and other high level employees.
They congratulated him on returning to the Emirates after undergoing an operation overseas earlier this month.
Details of the surgery or the location were not stated.
They wished him continued health and happiness, state news agency Wam reported.
