Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed meets Singapore president



Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met Singapore's president Halimah Yacob on his official visit to the country on Friday.

Sheikh Abdullah discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations and strengthen cooperation in trade, investment, tourism and food security, according to WAM, the UAE stat news agency.

The meeting also touched on the latest developments in the region and Sheikh Abdullah and Ms Yacob reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern.

During his visit, Sheikh Abdullah also signed the visitors' book of the Presidential Palace in Singapore.

The minister's delegation included Dr Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education and Advanced Skills, and Mohammed Omar Belfaqeeh, the UAE Ambassador to Singapore.
