Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed, UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation, met French foreign minister Jean-Yves Le Drian in Paris on Thursday.
The two reviewed prospects for further consolidating co-operation in various fields, as well as bilateral ties between the UAE and France.
They discussed regional and international issues of mutual interest and the latest developments in the Middle East. Both hoped to push for peace and stability in the region.
The ministers talked about the global fight to end the Covid-19 pandemic and the importance of collective efforts to ensure delivery of vaccines around the world.
Sheikh Abdullah stressed the importance of strategic relations between the countries, and the UAE's determination to develop their collaboration to a higher level.
