ABU DHABI // The rulers of the emirates have sent Eid Al Fitr greetings to the UAE President and senior leadership.
Members of the Supreme Council sent cables to Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, reported Wam, the state news agency.
The Supreme Council members including Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Sharjah; Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, the Ruler of Ajman; Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, the Ruler of Fujairah; Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu’alla, Ruler of Umm Al Qaiwain, and Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, the Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, sent their best wishes to the people of the UAE as well as other Arab and Islamic countries.
The rulers also sent Eid Al Fitr greetings to the leaders and heads of state of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) as well as the heads and Kings of other Arab and Islamic countries.
“They wished for continued good health for the leaders and for further progress, prosperity and glory for their peoples,” reported Wam.
The Crown Princes and Deputy Rulers have also sent similar cables of congratulations to Sheikh Khalifa, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.
