ABU DHABI // Federal Government employees are to have their salaries paid early ahead of Ramadan.
Payments to employees, retirees and Emiratis requiring social assistance will be made on May 25, reported Wam, the state news agency.
It follows directives from Sheikh Khalifa, the President, and an order made by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai.
It is aimed at enabling families prepare for the holy month of Ramadan.
Abu Dhabi government employees will also be paid on May 25, according to an announcement from Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
