FNC opens parliamentary digital library

ABU DHABI // A parliamentary digital library has been established at the Federal National Council, at its headquarters in Abu Dhabi.

It was inaugurated by Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior and comes within the framework of the Year of Reading, which was launched by the President, Sheikh Khalifa.

Dr Amal Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the FNC, and Dr Mohammed Al Mazroui, secretary-general of the council, were present at the event.

Dr Al Qubaisi said that parliamentary libraries are an essential part of the knowledge system, serving primarily parliamentarians, researchers and specialists, and provide resources for them by preserving documents of parliament and its sessions.
