A UAE aid plane carrying 13 tonnes of medical supplies was sent to Kazakhstan to assist the country in combating the Covid-19 pandemic.
Officials said the shipment will help more than 10,000 healthcare professionals.
The flight is the latest aid for countries affected by the virus. On Monday, an Etihad plane flew 10 tonnes of protective equipment for medical staff to Rome.
"The UAE is committed to extending support to countries affected by the Covid-19 crisis, in recognition that multilateral co-operation is essential to the international community overcoming this humanitarian crisis," said Dr Mohammed Al Jaber, UAE Ambassador to Kazakhstan.
"This aid is one of numerous shipments that the UAE has dispatched since the start of the crisis. In addition to country-specific aid, the UAE has partnered with the World Health Organisation, WHO, to enhance the global response to Covid-19."
He said the shipment would help medical staff to safely perform their professional duties.
Kazakhstan had 709 cases as of Wednesday, March 8.
Seven people have died and 53 recovered to date.
