Abu Dhabi’s state-owned oil company has announced it will sponsor the capital’s marathon for a second time.
The inaugural event staged last year proved a huge success with thousands of athletes from around the world taking part.
This year, organisers promised the race would be “even bigger and better than [the] last.”
East African runners dominated the podium in 2018, with Kenya's Marius Kipserem, 30, taking the men's title with a time of two hours, four minutes and four seconds.
This year’s race will take place on December 6 and anyone hoping to take part can register online now.
