FUJAIRAH // A project to build 1,100 new homes for up to 10,000 people will begin in March.
The Ministry of Public Works said the scheme in Mohammed bin Zayed City will be the biggest residential development in the emirate.
Mohammed Al Afkham, director general of Fujairah Municipality, said the development will cover a total of six square kilometres and include schools, mosques, parks and shopping malls.
He said it would accommodate between 8,000 and 10,000 people.
