ABU DHABI // Four men are on trial at the Federal Supreme Court for having links to Libyan terrorist organisations.
They are charged with providing support to Islamist Groups the Libyan Dawn Militia and the February 17th Martyrs Brigade.
Libyan K D, 55, and his son M D, 34, an American citizen, are accused alongside S A, 47, and E U, 66, both from Libya, of providing financial support to the two organisations who follow the Muslim Brotherhood according to court documents.
They are also being accused of providing tools and assets that would have enabled the groups to achieve their terrorists goals and have allegedly provided vehicles, telecommunication devices, night vision goggles and bulletproof vests.
Prosecutors said the men were aware of the intentions of the groups they were aiding.
They denied the charges presented against them.
The case was adjourned to February 15.
