RAS AL KHAMIAH // A fire broke out at a sponge and paper tissues warehouse at 2pm on Sunday near RAK mall.
Firefighters from four civil defence stations managed to control the blaze before it could spread.
The warehouse stored chemical materials that were removed by civil defence teams to avoid an explosion.
There were no casualties reported, however financial loses are currently being calculated.
The site was handed over to the forensic laboratory of RAK Police to determine the cause of the incident.
