The fifth Union Fortress, the UAE military's live demonstration show, is to be held in Ajman.
It will be held in March in Al Zorah under the patronage of Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman.
The first Union Fortress show took place at the Abu Dhabi Corniche in March 2017.
The second was in Sharjah at Al Khan Corniche in October 2017, the third in February last year at Al Ain International Airport, while Fujairah hosted the fourth edition of the military show at the Fujairah Corniche last November.
The Union Fortress show highlights the capabilities of the armed forces, equipment and training to defend the national interests and national security in close co-operation with the other security services in the various emirates.
Several divisions of the armed forces, including helicopters, jets, armoured personnel carriers and rapid attack boats usually take part in the live-action show.
UAE citizens and residents are encouraged to attend the event to share in the feelings of pride, spirit of unity and show support for the dedication and commitment of the armed forces members.
