UAE weather: fog rolls in across the UAE for a fourth day

Fog has enveloped parts of the UAE for a fourth day.

The National Centre of Meteorology on Thursday warned of extreme fog in Al Dhafra and in parts of the E11 motorway between Abu Dubai and Dubai.

It marks the fourth consecutive day of such conditions across the country.

On Wednesday, drivers were warned not to exceed 80 kilometres per hour after the speed limit was reduced due to the treacherous weather.

As summer starts to come to a close, fog will be more familiar in the months to come.

Meanwhile, temperatures in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will hover around the 40s on Thursday.

But residents should prepare for high levels of humidity, reaching a sticky 95 per cent along the coast.
