Rain continued falling over the UAE early on Thursday morning, but most of it is expected to subside later in the day.
Schools across the country will re-open on Thursday after they were closed on Wednesday because of “unstable weather conditions”.
It is expected to be mainly cloudy, with some chance of rainfall, the National Centre of Meteorology said.
Temperatures could reach 26°C in Abu Dhabi and in Dubai, the NCM added.
Winds will calm down to from strong to moderate, reaching speeds of up to 50kmph in the mountains.
It will be rough in the Arabian Gulf and in the Sea of Oman.
