UAE weather: Dubai and Abu Dhabi set for hot and humid Friday

Weather conditions in Dubai on Friday will be mostly clear and sunny with a moderate breeze.

Temperatures are due to peak at 40°C shortly after midday, accompanied by gentle winds of up to 23kph.

The forecast for Abu Dhabi promises a similar day of clear skies and light breezes.

Temperatures are predicted to be slightly cooler, reaching 38°C in the afternoon, with lighter winds of around 19kph.

The National Centre of Meteorology is predicting fair conditions for the UAE in general, but predicted a chance of some fog and mist forming by night and into Saturday morning.

The Centre said humidity will increase by night.

Night time temperatures could drop to around 30°C in Dubai and Abu Dhabi over the course of Friday night and the early hours of Saturday morning.
