More rain could be on the way after parts of the country were lashed over the weekend.

The National Centre of Meteorology posted several videos on Saturday showing heavy rain, flooding wadis and even hail storms.

And forecasters warned of the chance of more ahead on Sunday, especially over eastern parts of the country.

The pattern of unstable weather has intensified as the transition between summer and winter ramps up.

Police have also cautioned drivers not to video the rain while driving, warning of a Dh800 fine and four black points if they are caught.

Meanwhile, the NCM said it will be partly cloudy in the UAE on Sunday.

Winds could kick up dust storms over exposed areas, while the sea will be reasonably calm in the Arabian Sea and Sea of Oman.

Maximum temperatures will hit 38C, while it could sink as low as 15C in the mountains.
