ABU DHABI // The Ministry of Education has started the process of redrafting school curricula in line with its new innovation strategy.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for educational policies, Sheikha Khawla Al Mualla, said the strategy is to become an integral part of learning criteria for the country’s public schools.
She said the new curricula will include 21st century skill-development tools, including creative and analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, teamwork and determining information sources.
The curricula update was announced at an education forum in Dubai last month.
