Dh200m residential tower and new degree programmes for Sharjah University

Dr Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed, Ruler of Sharjah and President of Sharjah University, chaired a meeting of the university’s board of trustees on Sunday.

The meeting reviewed the performance report for the present academic year and the financial audit report.

Dr Sheikh Sultan praised the university’s progress and approved a number of initiatives and projects, including the establishment of a Dh200 million university residential tower in Al Mamzar.

He also approved plans for the university to attract scientists and subject matter experts from the world over and enable them to conduct large-scale scientific research.

The ruler approved a number of promotions and raises as well as the introduction of new PhD and master’s degree programmes.
