The bridges linking Dubai's Trade Centre with Al Maktoum Bridge will open by the end of the year, the Roads and Transport Authority has announced.
The Dh719 million project is now about 68 per cent complete. It consists of 4,250 metres of two-lane bridges and a 120-metre concrete bridge, linking the Western Parallel Road with Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Road and Street 312 through the Trade Centre.
It can also be taken by drivers heading for the Garhoud Bridge and Dubai-Al Ain road.
The junctions surrounding the Trade Centre will also be upgraded.
