Dubai’s Al Ameen Service is warning the public about telephone scams and potential extortion.
The community service website said that people should be cautious of communication from unknown locations and urged them not to provide any unknown callers with any personal data linked to financial information.
They warned against providing strangers with similar information.
Anyone with information about such scams can contact Al Ameen on 8004888, call 050 856 6657, or send an SMS to 4444 or an email to alameen@alameen.gov.ae.
