Dates to be given to needy across globe before Ramadan



ABU DHABI // A dates distribution project has been launched by the Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, reported state news agency Wam.

The project aims to ship 311 tonnes of dates by sea and air to 21 countries around the world before the month of Ramadan.

The supplies will be distributed to the needy in Kazakhstan, Bahrain, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Turkmenistan, Egypt, Morocco, Lebanon, India, Tanzania, Japan, Germany, Belgium, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Serbia, Ireland, Spain and Portugal.
