Driver stopped on Dubai road found with more than 5kg of hashish



DUBAI // A driver stopped on the Dubai Bypass Road had more than 5 kilogrammes of hashish and 439 Tramadol tablets in his car, a court heard today.

Anti-Narcotics officers acting on a tip-off arrested MA, 45, an Emirati, after stopping his Nissan Sunny on November 7 last year.

At the Criminal Court the man admitted consuming drugs and driving under the influence.

The next hearing will be on March 27.

The flights
