Boy dies after fridge falls on him

FUJAIRAH // A four-year-old Emirati boy was killed after a refrigerator fell on him at his home in Dadna in Dibba Al Fujairah.

The boy was trying to open the fridge when it toppled over and fell on him at about 8pm on Saturday. His family found the child lying unconscious under the refrigerator.

Family members drove him to the hospital but were involved in a car accident on the way.

When ambulance crews arrived at the accident scene and saw the boy, they tried to give him first aid on the way to hospital but he died before they arrived.
