The Sheikh Zayed Book Award has split its literature category into two prizes, one for creative literary works and one for criticism.
Organisers said the quality and volume of books submitted had been increasing, making it necessary to separate the categories.
Nominations close in September.

Abdelkarim Zbidi (two-time defence minister backed by Nidaa Tounes party): 10.7 per cent
Youssef Chahed (former prime minister, leader of Long Live Tunisia): 7.3 per cent
