A short movie depicting Abu Dhabi’s contribution to markEarth Hour, the world’s largest climate-change event, was released today. The three-minute film shows the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, the Yas Hotel, the Emirates Palace hotel and other iconic buildings as they slip into darkness. The event, which took place on March 26, attracted record participation, with Abu Dhabi joining cities across 130 other countries, in turning off all inessential lights for an hour.
