UAE weather: fair and cloudy with cooler start to weekend

Temperatures will reach 29°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai today

The weekend will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 30s, according to forecasters.

Thursday will be partly cloudy at times, with a slight decrease in temperatures, but it will be hotter than 30°C in the cities on the coast.

Winds will be light to moderate becoming gusty at times.

Humidity will rise overnight, raising the risk of fog or mist in some areas on the coast and inland.

Friday will be fair, becoming cloudy at times. Temperatures will reach 30°C in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and 31°C in Al Ain.

Winds will be light to moderate and conditions will be calm in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Humidity will return again overnight, raising the risk of fog or mist in some areas on the coast and inland.

The weather on Saturday will be similar during the day, but winds will pick up over the sea by the evening, blowing dust and sand over exposed areas.

Conditions will become rough late in the day in the Arabian Gulf, but the Oman Sea will remain calm.

The start of the shorter working week will be partly cloudy and hazy at times. The east and north of the country could see light rain and there will be a drop in temperatures in some areas, with highs of 29°C in Al Ain. It should reach 30°C in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
