15km walkway completed in Mohammed bin Zayed City

Abu Dhabi Municipality has completed work on a 15km walkway in Mohammed bin Zayed City and held a cycling marathon to mark the occasion. According to Al Ittihad, The National's sister publication, the bike ride was organised by Mussaffah municipality, a special needs centre, Civil Defence, Bikey, Al Ahlia hospital and Mussafah municipality employees.

The municipality said the initiative aimed to motivate residents towards participating in community and athletic activities and raise awareness about public health.

The project is part of a wider plan to achieve sustainable development and improve quality of life in the Emirate, reflecting the mission of the municipality in providing customer-centric services.
