Seven Fujairah families struggle to improve harsh living conditions

The seven families living in Al Mtherat face being stuck in their homes for days at a time each time a nearby dam overflows, blocking their only main road. Each winter, during heavy rain, their access is cut off - and authorities have yet to deal with the matter, which has been ongoing for three years.
