Tottenham striker Harry Kane has said he is “flattered” by the reported interest from Manchester United but has no intention of leaving his boyhood club.

Kane, 21, was in action on Thursday night for England’s Under-21 side in their opening European Championship defeat to Portugal.

Following the match, the striker was questioned on his future, with widespread reports linking him with a big-money move to Premier League rivals United.

“I am happy at Spurs and I look forward to the future with Spurs,” Kane said.

“I have seen there is interest but that’s all I know. It is flattering for other clubs to maybe be interested.

“Tottenham are one of the big clubs. That is the way people have to see it. I am at a big club.”

Kane enjoyed a stunning breakthrough season that produced 31 goals in all competitions for Tottenham, and culminated in him winning the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

United's hunt for new strikers has seen the club heavily linked with Atletico Madrid forward Mario Mandzukic, while recent reports suggest Everton's Romelu Lukaku is also on their radar.
