Ahead of the 2016 Mubadala World Tennis Championship in Abu Dhabi, here is everything you need to know about the tournament.

Rafael Nadal — world No 9, 14-time grand slam champion
Tomas Berdych — world No 10, 2010 Wimbledon finalist
David Goffin — world No 11, 2015 Davis Cup finalist
Jo-Wilfried Tsonga — world No 12, 2008 Australian Open finalist
What is the Mubadala World Tennis Championship?
A six-player invitational tournament played in a winner-takes-all format. Two quarter-final matches are played on the opening day, with the top two seeded players — this year Murray and Raonic — receiving byes into the semi-finals. Day 2 of the tournament hosts the semi-finals, with the final taking place on Day 3. The winner walks away with $250,000 (Dh918,000). Away from the on-court action, the Tennis Village will offer family entertainment, food and beverage, and autograph signing sessions with the players.
