Should we be calling Massa the Formula One world champion?

  • English
  • Arabic

Massa, who has not raced since injuring himself at the Hungary Grand Prix in July, blasted the FIA for their failure to overturn the result of last year's Singapore Grand Prix following admissions by Renault that Nelson Piquet Jr had deliberately crashed in order to aid Fernando Alonso's race chances. The Crashgate scandal, which brought out the safety car, ruined Massa's race, the Brazilian immediately pitting but driving away from the pits with the fuel hose still attached following a mix-up by his pit crew. He ended up out of the points. Massa argued Renault's actions had cost him victory and also the title he lost by a point to Hamilton at Interlagos. Do you agree with Massa? Have your say below.
