Based in Dubai for the final part of his camp before his UAE debut, Conor McGregor did presumably what any transcendent superstar would do to journey to Abu Dhabi.
He hopped aboard a luxury yacht.
The Irishman posted pictures from the deck on Monday, with one looking out at the newly opened Etihad Arena. McGregor makes his long-awaited comeback to the octagon there on Sunday.
The former two-division champion, who hasn’t fought competitively since last January, takes on Dustin Poirier in the headline bout at UFC 257, which brings down the curtain on Fight Island Triple Header in the capital.
True to form, McGregor has arrived in Abu Dhabi his own style.

Who was Alfred Nobel?
The Nobel Prize was created by wealthy Swedish chemist and entrepreneur Alfred Nobel.
- In his will he dictated that the bulk of his estate should be used to fund "prizes to those who, during the preceding year, have conferred the greatest benefit to humankind".
- Nobel is best known as the inventor of dynamite, but also wrote poetry and drama and could speak Russian, French, English and German by the age of 17. The five original prize categories reflect the interests closest to his heart.
