The highest paid players at Chelsea - in pictures

Chelsea made a number of big-money signings last summer, and with the 2020-21 season drawing to a conclusion, they are reaping the rewards.

The Blues are fighting for trophies on three fronts - the FA Cup, the Premier League, and the Champions League, in the final two months of the campaign.

Not every signing has been an immediate success - most notably German striker Timo Werner has struggled for goals - and in January manager Frank Lampard was sacked as the Blues struggled to make an impact.

Since then new boss Thomas Tuchel has led them into the top four, and in contention for silverware.

Werner is among the highest paid players at Chelsea, and some of the other first-season recruits are in the top bracket.
