Tammy Abraham's sensational early-season form continued as Chelsea romped to a 5-2 win over Wolves at Molineux, with the English striker bagging a hat-trick.
Fikayo Tomori put Frank Lampard's Chelsea ahead with a superb 31st-minute strike and Abraham doubled the advantage three minutes later.
Abraham, who had netted twice in each of his previous two games, then added a header in the 41st minute and a 55th-minute finish to make victory look all but secure for the away side.
Wolves hit back via an Abraham own-goal in the 69th minute and it was 4-2 in the 85th thanks to substitute Patrick Cutrone, before Mason Mount notched Chelsea's fifth in added time.
Abraham's eventful outing concluded with him coming off injured in the 77th minute - but he had a big smile on his face come the final whistle.
"I hope this is my season. I have to keep working hard in every training session, every game. Every game I want to prove myself to the gaffer," Abraham said.
On the team's defensive errors, the 21-year-old added: "We would have loved the clean sheet but there were lots of important moments throughout the game. They are what we need to take forwards. We were great on the counter-attack and now we keep pushing forwards."
Lampard declared himself "very happy" with his side's victory. "I think we have had some performances where we have not got results we have wanted but to come to Wolves and win well is important. We need to continue now."
Son Heung-min was among the goals with the South Korean forward twice on target as Tottenham Hotspur blew Crystal Palace away with four first-half goals.
It was only the second win of the season for Mauricio Pochettino's side, whose other goalscorers were Erik Lamela and a Patrick van Aanholt own goal to round off a miserable day for the Eagles at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
"We performed really well from the start and created many chances to score, I think the players deserve more than three points today," said Son, who was quick to heap praise on his teammates. "They helped me a lot at the start of the season, without these teammates I cannot score the goals."
Both Chelsea and Tottenham are in Champions League action this week, and Son said the win over Palace has given Spurs a big boost ahead of Wednesday's trip to Olympiakos.
"Winning is always important in football. The players are ready to fight and compete and we are looking forward to big competitions and the Champions League on Wednesday."
An injury-hit Manchester United coped without Paul Pogba to inflict Leicester City's first defeat of the season as Marcus Rashford scored the only goal from the penalty spot in a 1-0 win at Old Trafford.
Leicester defender Caglar Soyuncu caught Rashford in the box and the United forward dusted himself down to send Kasper Schmeichel the wrong way after eight minutes.
It was United's first win since the opening day thrashing of Chelsea but they were forced to defend for long periods against an inventive Leicester, with Jamie Vardy always a threat for the visitors.
"We hung in there," admitted United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. "It was the first time this season where we have had to defend for large periods. We have dominated the other games but today we saw a team that could defend in their own half."
United join Tottenham and Chelsea on eight points from five games, but Liverpool protected the only 100 per cent record in the league by coming from behind to beat Newcastle United 3-1 in Saturday's early kick off.
Neil Maupay's second-half strike looked to have secured Brighton & Hove Albion all three points against Burnley at the Amex Stadium until Jeff Hendrick ripped up the script with a goal in injury time.
"It was frustrating. I feel for the players because they put a lot into the game," said Brighton manager Graham Potter.
