Organisers announced on Sunday another chance for UAE-based Manchester City fans to gather and watch their club at Zayed Sports City.

The club will host another viewing party for the Manchester derby, against United in a week on October 25. The match will be shown on a large screen on Pitch 1 at Sports City.

Organisers said entry would be free and events would begin at 5.30pm, with the match kick-off scheduled for 6.05pm. Festivities will last until 8pm.

A release said a signed Man City shirt would be on offer as the prize in a social media competition that will be held.

“We have seen first-hand the passion of our fans in Abu Dhabi and I have no doubt they will be looking forward to this game just as much as we are,” defender Aleksandar Kolarov was quoted saying in the release.

“I thank them for their support and hope that we can produce a fantastic performance to bring them the result they want most.”

Organisers ask that interested parties email skyblue@mcfc.co.uk to reserve a place at the fanzone.
