Week 10 of the Premier League kicks off this weekend, with all eyes on whether joint leaders Manchester City and Liverpool, as well as the other sides close behind, can continue their form.

Brighton and Hove Albion 0 Wolverhampton Wanderers 1
Saturday, 6pm
Why? Wolves suffered a first home defeat of the season against Watford last weekend but that feels like just a blip for Nuno Espirto Santo's side, who have impressed considerably on the most part since their return to the top flight. They should have too much for Brighton, with the likes of Joao Moutinho and Ruben Neves driving the team on.
Fulham 2 Bournemouth 4
Saturday, 6pm
Why? Fulham have scored the most goals of any side in the bottom nine, but they concede them at an alarming rate at the end, with opponents averaging 2.7 goals against them. Callum Wilson and Josh King, one of the most prolific pairings in the league, will fancy their chances of the adding to their respective goal tallies here.
Liverpool 3 Cardiff City 0
Saturday, 6pm
Why? The good news for Cardiff is they finally have a win under their belt, having beaten Fulham last Saturday. The bad news is they now face a Liverpool side, who may not be firing on all cylinders but have been impressively ruthless against teams in the lower half of the table. With Mohamed Salah showing signs of regaining his form, having netted twice in the Uefa Champions League in midweek, this could be a long afternoon for Cardiff.
Southampton 0 Newcastle United 0
Saturday, 6pm
Why? Two teams low on confidence and who have both mustered only six goals each so far. Given how badly they have struggled a point would be a welcome boost, if not much of one, for Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez.
Watford 2 Huddersfield Town 1
Saturday, 6pm
Why? Huddersfield took six points off Watford last season, most notably hammering them 4-1 at Vicarage Road in December. A repeat is unlikely this time as Watford are a much more composed outfit under Javier Gracia, excluding the 4-0 thrashing at home to Bournemouth three weeks ago, and with Roberto Pereyra now back among the goals after a barren September they should win here.

Leicester City 1 West Ham United 2
Saturday, 8.30pm
Why? Both sides have been inconsistent this season, being great on occasions and awful on others. Claude Puel's Leicester are yet to draw a game this season and that will not change here as West Ham are improving under Manuel Pellegrini and have Marko Arnautovic in fine form.
Burnley 0 Chelsea 2
Sunday, 5.30pm
Why? Chelsea failed to build on a good start against Manchester United last Saturday but showed their resolve by earning a point their second half efforts probably did not deserve. Eden Hazard continues to be a class act and would have been the difference maker at Turf Moor, but he remains an injury doubt due to a bad back. Nonetheless, with the likes of Ruben Loftus-Cheek showing his class in the Europa League midweek, the London side will keep their title challenge up.
Crystal Palace 0 Arsenal 2
Sunday, 5.30pm
Why? Palace have the best defensive record of anyone in the bottom half of the table, but a sorry total of five goals in nine games is why they are struggling. It will not get any better for Roy Hodgson's team here as Arsenal's forward line of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will fire them to an eighth successive league win.
Manchester United 1 Everton 1
Sunday, 8pm
Why? Jose Mourinho still has the support of his players, at least on the pitch, with spirited comebacks against Newcastle and Chelsea earning them four points from losing positions. But they still lack quality defensively and Everton's attacking line-up of Richarlison, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Theo Walcott will fancy their chances of causing problems.
Tottenham Hotspur 0 Manchester City 2
Tuesday, 12am
Why? It is a credit to Mauricio Pochettino that Tottenham are firmly in the title picture despite not being anywhere near their best form. They were found wanting by Liverpool last month and champions City should be too strong for them here too, with Pep Guardiola's side beginning to build up their own momentum as they continue their quest to be the first team since Manchester United in 2009 to retain the league crown.
