Champions League predictions: PSG send Bayern packing, while Real Madrid ease past Liverpool

We take a look at this week's quarter-final second legs

  TUESDAY - Chelsea v Porto (all kick-offs 11pm UAE): The London club has one foot in the last four after goals from Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell put them firmly in control of this tie. On the domestic front at the weekend, Thomas Tuchel's side thumped Crystal Palace 4-1, while Porto defeated Tondela 2-0. A comfortable evening ahead here for the English side.   Paris Saint-Germain v Bayern Munich: The meeting of last year's finalists ended in a stunning 3-2 first-leg win for runners-up PSG. Kylian Mbappe scored twice in Germany and followed that up at the weekend with another goal - and an assist - in a 4-1 win at Strasbourg in Ligue 1.   WEDNESDAY - Borussia Dortmund v Manchester City: Could this be the last time we see Erling Braut Haaland playing for Dortmund in the Champions League? The Germans are 2-1 down from the first leg after Phil Foden's last-gasp strike gave City a slender advantage. Dortmund defeated Stuttgart 2-1 in the Bundesliga at the weekend, while the English champions elect suffered a shock home defeat to Leeds, but it's City who edge into the semi-finals here. Prediction: Dortmund 2 City 2; City win 4-3 on aggregate. Reuters

Vinicius Junior's two goals left Jurgen Klopp's side, who beat Aston Villa in the Premier League at the weekend, with a mountain to climb in the second leg - one that will prove too big to scale without the backing of a deafening Anfield crowd to roar them on here. We are now hurtling down the home stretch in European football's premier club competition with the semi-final spots to be decided this week.

On Tuesday, Chelsea take on Porto at Stamford Bridge with the English club firmly in the driving seat after winning the first leg 2-0.

The day's other game sees reigning champions Bayern Munich attempting to overturn a one-goal deficit against Paris Saint-Germain after losing the opening clash in Germany 3-2.

Fast forward 24 hours and Pep Guardiola's Manchester City face Borussia Dortmund in Germany, defending a 2-1 advantage from the first leg. In-form Real Madrid take on Liverpool at Anfield in a strong position after beating Jurgen Klopp's side 3-1 in Spain last week.

The winner's of that clash between Real and Liverpool will take on either Chelsea or Porto in the semi-finals, leaving the victors of Dortmund-City and PSG-Bayern Munich facing-off in the other tie.

The last-four first-legs will take place on April 27-28, with the deciding games scheduled for May 4-5. The Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul is set to host the final on May 29.
